Google Chrome began blocking advertising
- A2 days ago, an important update to the Chrome browser took effect. Now this browser on any platform will automatically block ads. But not all advertising will be blocked, but only one that does not meet the requirements of the Better Ads standard. Better Ads conducted a survey among 40,000 people to find out which promotional materials they are most irritated and what they consider acceptable. It turned out that the most annoying Internet users banners with a timer, pop-ups, video playback and other advertising that interferes with the viewing of information on the web page.
Chrome will now block all advertising content from sites that violate the Better Ads standard. This innovation has already brought benefits - almost half of the sites that do not meet the new requirements of Better Ads, in a few hours, eliminated violations.
