The leaders of Huawei at a specially organized press conference promised to release a smartphone with support for 5G by 2019. The approximate period is mid-summer. A couple of years ago, the standard 5G seemed, if not fantastic, then at least unattainable. However, with his statement, everything has changed dramatically - many large manufacturers began to hastily develop devices supporting a new standard, and mobile operators began to intensively establish a network of a new generation.

Earlier, Huawei released 5G-modem Balong 5G01, but the dimensions did not allow it to be used in mobile devices, now the Chinese manufacturer is developing a solution specifically for mobile devices.
