Researchers found a critical vulnerability in smartphones

To a rather unexpected result came the researchers of the American organization Kryptowire, testing in the laboratory some smart phones of such famous brands as ZTE, Asus and LG.
It turned out that some devices above the designated brands are supplied to consumers with firmware, in which there are a number of vulnerabilities. The advantage of the openness of the operating system Android hides under itself and its disadvantage - third parties have access to the OS code and create different versions of the system.

"Almost all organizations in the supply chain are trying to pre-install proprietary software, adding and changing the system, which ultimately increases the chances of possible hacker attacks and software failures," Kryptowire said.
