Characteristics of the Snapdragon 8150 chipset
- ASomewhere in early December, Qualcomm will introduce the flagship Snapdragon 8150 chipset, which was previously mistakenly called Snapdragon 855. The other day, the German edition of WinFuture lifted a curtain over the novelty, revealing the specifications of the future flagship.
According to the publication, the chipset will consist of two groups of 4 cores: slow with a frequency of 1.7 GHz and fast with a frequency of 2.6 GHz.
The new processor should change the Snapdragon 845. It will be made on 7-nm technology and will get even more transistors, despite the previous dimensions.
It is reported that the first smartphones based on the new chip will appear early next year.
