Scientists working on a power source through Wi-Fi radiation

A team of scientists at the University of Massachusetts was able to create a power source that literally draws energy from the air. The original antenna of the device is capable of capturing electromagnetic energy and turning it into a constant electric current. Moreover, the source of electricity can be Bluetooth, LTE and Wi-Fi radiation.
At the moment, it was possible to get only a 40-microwatt power supply, which is not enough to charge modern smartphones, but at present, work is underway to increase the efficiency of the device.
