Samsung will hide the front camera
- AThe Samsung company has set a goal to create an absolutely frameless smartphone and the first step towards this will be an “invisible” front-facing camera.
At the moment, South Koreans are actively using Infinity-O displays, in which the front camera is located in a hole in the upper left corner. This is a good alternative to mono-brows and cut-outs, but still not what Samsung ideally wants to see. It became known that the possibility of completely concealing the front camera lens is being developed. A top manager of the company, Jan Byun-duk, said in a recent interview that this development will be available in just a couple of years.
The company is also working to remove the standard speaker, using Sound on Display technology instead, in which sound will radiate the display itself.
