Fortsense has developed fingerprint sensor for LCD screens

On the eve of the Chinese company Fortsense said that it was able to develop the world's first fingerprint scanner, which could be used in LCD panels. Most modern smartphones are equipped with a subscreen fingerprint sensor, but for this, mobile device manufacturers have to use more expensive OLED displays.
If the company's engineers manage to bring their technology to mass production, soon manufacturers will be able to choose, install a more common scanner module and use the OLED panel, or apply a new development in combination with an inexpensive IPS panel.
The appearance of smartphones with the use of new technology should be expected no earlier than a year later.
