Found a virus hacking whatsapp and telegram
- ARecently, representatives of Kaspersky Lab stated that thanks to the company's efforts they managed to detect dangerous malware. The spyware program FinSpy, among other things, can crack protected WhatsApp and Telegram messengers and transmit confidential information contained in correspondence to attackers.
According to cybersecurity experts, the spyware virus is periodically improved, getting an opportunity to bypass the protection of mobile platforms and support an increasing number of applications. FinSpy can be transferred to the victim’s smartphone via SMS, push notifications or sent via email.
It is reported that the virus is dangerous only for smartphones running on outdated operating systems and not having protection against malicious software. Therefore, a reliable guarantee against hacking is a regular update of the operating system.
