Huawei's temporary license from the U.S. government has expired

-
Last spring, at the height of the trade war, the U.S. government banned all cooperation with Huawei, but later the Chinese company was granted a temporary license. The license expired and now the possibilities for cooperation between American and Chinese companies have dried up.

According to one version, the annual license was not so much to take care of Huawei's huge army of customers, but rather to take care of its operators, who used telecommunications equipment and needed time to replace it. This goal has been achieved, and there is no need to renew the license for the American side.

The Chinese company's mobile devices, which were sold before the spring of last year, will no longer be able to receive security updates, relatively new smartphones released without Google services should still receive updates.
