Samsung working on a new chip in collaboration with AMD

In early June last year, Samsung and AMD signed a cooperation agreement, under which the South Korean manufacturer for a fee received a high-performance graphics Radeon. Until recently, no dividends from this agreement were seen, but recently it became known about the beginning of work in this direction.

According to Ice Universe analyst, the new Exynos 9925 chip with powerful graphics from AMD is currently being tested. If the companies succeed, then Samsung will finally be able to abandon the Mali video in favor of a more modern and powerful solution Radeon.
According to experts, the chip can be announced in a year, but the commercial application will have to wait at least two years.
