Despite the fact that 5G networks are not yet so widespread, the development of next generation networks does not stop for a second. It became known that the world's first 6G communication satellite was launched into the sky over China. The launch of the carrier rocket with the satellites, which included a test 70 kg 6G-satellite, took place on November 6.

Created in close cooperation between the China Electronic University and several companies, the satellite will operate in the terahertz band, probe the Earth's surface and transmit information, for example, about natural disasters and natural calamities. The data from the satellite will also be used by various ministries and departments.

By the way, the estimated deployment time of 6G-networks is expected closer to 2030.
