Initially, it was expected that the chip will be called Snapdragon 775G and replace the 765G, but given that the new flagship chip is beautifully named Snapdragon 888, the 700 series model can also get a beautiful name - Snapdragon 777.
The device will have to compete with similar class chips competitors: MediaTek MT6893 and Exynos 1080.
