Sub-screen front-facing cameras are quite popular among smartphone manufacturers. A couple of months ago, ZTE introduced a new product with such a camera, the Axon 20 5G, and it looks like Google is next in line. At least, the company's new patent talks about just such an engineering solution.

The company's patent demonstrates a smartphone screen without cutouts and holes, although in the active state the front camera is located in the upper left side of the display. Many analysts agree that this is the design of the flagship Pixel 6, which will be presented in early spring next year.
At the moment, Google does not comment on the rumors and does not disclose the characteristics of the future novelty.
