Google added "Site Cards" to search

-
Since the beginning of February, the Google search engine has undergone major changes. In the U.S., search results will now include a so-called "card" site, which will contain information about the site, excerpts from the Wikipedia database or indexing data. This information will be displayed not only in the desktop version of the search engine, but also in the mobile version.

According to the developers' idea, the expanded functionality should make it easier for users to find the necessary information and give them the opportunity to find out about the content of a particular resource even before they open it.

At the moment the updated search works only in the U.S., but there is no doubt that if the experience is considered successful, the expanded functionality will work in other regions.
