Google is working on a foldable smartphone

A smartphone with a flexible screen combines two advantages: first, when folded, it does not take up much space, and second, when unfolded, it allows you to view information on a large screen. At the moment, the niche of foldable smartphones is dominated by Huawei and Samsung, but this may change, because the development of their device is closely engaged engineers Google Corporation.

Google already has two patents for foldable smartphones, obtained last year. One of them reveals the design of the device, which folds outward with the display, while the other one folds inward. If we believe the online publication WindowsUnited, the announcement of the foldable device, which will probably join the Pixel lineup, is not far off. However, it is not yet clear what characteristics will have the first foldable smartphone Google.
