-
Qualcomm chips are very popular around the world, and are installed on about a third of Android devices. A critical vulnerability in the chips automatically means big problems for the army of millions of owners of such devices.

Check Point Research has released data showing that Qualcomm's chips have a serious security problem that could allow an attacker to take almost complete control of a mobile device.

Admittedly, Qualcomm agreed with the findings, thanked them for their help, and promised that it would fix the vulnerability as soon as possible, urging customers not to delay with security updates to their devices.
