MediaTek unveiled the world's first 4nm Dimensity 9000 5G processor
- ALast week there was an important event for the whole IT-industry: the first mobile processor, based on 4nm technology, was finally presented. The chip was named Dimensity 9000 5G and is currently the most powerful in the world.
Under the "hood" of the new processor are four economical Cortex-A510, three main "workhorses" Cortex-A710 and high-performance Cortex-X2 (3.05 GHz). According to the company, in the Geekbench test the result of the new chip became higher than that of the flagship Android chip, the advantage of the Dimensity 9000 5G relative to Google Tensor in terms of artificial intelligence speed was 16 percent.
According to rumors, the first smartphones with the new chip are expected to appear in the spring, but it is not yet clear which brands plan to use the chip.
