Google continues its policy on the closure of projects that do not generate income and have not gained popularity among users. Another service in the consistent removal policy of the “Corporation of Good” was the messenger Allo. According to official information, which was recently voiced by representatives of the company, Allo service will stop its work in early spring.
The cross-platform service existed for nothing at all - only in 2016 the integrated Google Assistant messenger was solemnly presented at the Google conference, and after a couple of months it will be closed.
Google will focus all its efforts on the Messages application, which is used to communicate by nearly 200 million users worldwide.
