Started production of new Samsung flash memory
- AThe factories of the South Korean concern Samsung have begun working on the release of a new generation of flash memory chips, which can almost double the speed of modern smartphones.
The characteristics of eUFS 3.0 are such that the whole movie in Full HD resolution will be transferred to the computer from the smartphone for only a couple of seconds. The memory speed of the new standard is 4 times faster than the SSD-drive and almost 20 times the microSD card. So with peak load, flash memory provides up to 2100 MB / s in read mode and 410 MB / s during write.
This month, 128 and 512 GB chips will be on sale, and closer to autumn - 256 GB and 1 TB.
