TSMC will produce 6-nanometer processors
- AOne of the world leaders in the production of semiconductor chips, the Taiwanese company TSMC, announced the improvement of production lines and a smooth transition to a 6-nanometer production technology. New processors will be able to demonstrate improved performance in conjunction with a more reasonable price.
"The new technology N6 will strengthen our leadership in the segment, allowing us to provide a more powerful and cheaper product compared to the N7," said TSMC top manager Kevin Zhang.
Production of class N6 processors starts in the first quarter of next year.
