Android identified gaps in user data collection

-
Despite continuous improvement and regular release of security updates, a flaw has recently been identified in the Android system that allows applications to collect sensitive information. In particular, data on applications installed on the smartphone can be collected, and this information, in turn, can be bought by advertisers, analyzed and based on it, information about the preferences of the gadget owner is displayed.
According to experts, about a third of commercial applications are configured to collect data about applications installed on the gadget, and all this happens without notifying the user in stealth mode.
Given the gap, the researchers called on Google to change its policy in the field of collecting user data, allowing the user to decide whether to give the software the right to collect related information about the device or not.
At the moment, Google has not commented on the information.
