JPMorgan analyst downgrades forecasts for sales of new smartphones iPhone

-
JPMorgan, a major financial holding company, reduced forecasts for the sale of smartphones iPhone. If earlier the company assumed that Apple will be able to sell 236 million smartphones in 2021, now the forecast was reduced to 230 million units, which, in turn, is more than the manufacturer was able to realize last year.

According to one of the analysts of the holding company, Samick Chatterjee, the iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro did not win a lot of popularity, not for nothing the supply of the Pro-version was reduced, and the release of the mini-version is in question, as the share of this small smartphone in the twelfth line does not exceed 6 percent.

Among the reasons for the decline in sales of smartphones iPhone referred to the lack of interest in 5G networks and the fall in sales of smartphones in the Celestial Empire.

Chatterjee suggested that Apple could sell 52 million devices in the second quarter and 42 million in the third.
