The first specifications for unannounced Dimensity 2000 and Snapdragon 898 processors have been revealed
- AA well known Digital Chat Station insider revealed the specifications of the yet unannounced mobile processors, Dimensity 2000 and Snapdragon 898, in a recent social networking post. Both chips will be based on 4nm process technology, but will have different clock speeds.
Production of the Dimensity 2000 will be done by TSMC. The chip will get an eight-core configuration with one powerful core at 3 GHz, three cores at 2.85 GHz and four economy cores at 1.79 GHz.
The same structure will receive and Snapdragon 898, which in turn will be created by Samsung specialists. One of the main differences will be the frequency of the three fast cores, which in comparison with the Dimensity 2000 will not work at 2.85 GHz, but at 2.5 GHz.
The Snapdragon 898 may be announced at the Qualcomm summit in December this year, nothing is yet known about the timing of the Dimensity 2000 announcement.
