Smartphone performance analyzer to appear in Android 12

-
A new version of the operating system will help developers more accurately optimize applications for each specific device. Android 12 will have a performance analyzer, which will assign a smartphone a particular power class, depending on which manufacturers will be able to adjust the application so that it runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible on that particular device.

A smartphone's performance class will be judged by its handling of multimedia files, camera, codecs, display resolution and other scenarios. The most interesting thing is that the same device will be able to have different performance classes for one operating system or another. Thus, the same application will be able to run fast on a flagship device as well as a slower one.
